To help kick-start the transport season ‘In a Jam’ at the Lewes Climate Hub (Wed 11 June – Sat 21 June), Cycle Lewes and The Depot have arranged a special screening of the film ‘Motherload’ on Friday 13 June from 6pm. In this documentary, filmmaker Liz Canning captures a new mother’s quest to understand the increasing isolation and disconnection of modern life, its planetary impact, and how cargo bikes could be an antidote. After the film there will be a question and answers session led by Lewes’ own champion of electric cargo bikes, Matthew Bird (of Get Bikery) along with some other users of these fun and super-capable two-wheeled machines.
